Description

Algemene informatie De Universiteit Maastricht (UM) staat in binnen- en buitenland bekend om haar unieke onderwijssysteem: het probleemgestuurde onderwijs (PGO). Bovendien profileert de UM zich door de sterk internationale oriëntatie. Een toenemend aantal studenten uit zowel heel Nederland als ook het buitenland kiest voor het Maastrichtse systeem. De UM is de jongste universiteit van Nederland en groeit snel. Er zijn momenteel ongeveer 20.000 studenten en 5.000 medewerkers. Onderwijs en onderzoek van de UM is voornamelijk georganiseerd op basis van faculteiten en schools. Meer informatie over de UM is te vinden op de internetsite www.maastrichtuniversity.nl. Aanleiding van de Tender Het doel van dit project is het realiseren van een onderzoeks- en onderwijsfaciliteit voor smart systems, robotica en automatisering, aanvullend op en functioneel maar bij voorkeur niet fysiek gescheiden van het bestaande Nick Bos Greenhouse. De faciliteit ondersteunt onderzoek, onderwijs en valorisatie op het snijvlak van agrofood, technologie en robotica. De scope van de opdracht omvat: Ontwerp en realisatie van een gebouw met bijbehorende installaties, daar waar dat mogelijk is heeft het de voorkeur om gebruik te maken van bestaande faciliteiten en techniek; Inrichting van onderzoeks-, test- en werkruimten; Faciliterende voorzieningen voor robotica, kasruimte en maker space-activiteiten.
