N04, MP-110016 EP RüKü UEF wildlife corridor (ZG6) Brüglen Risch, civil engineering works

The Swiss Federal Roads Office (ASTRA) is procuring construction works for a wildlife overpass, UEF WTK ZG6 Brüglen Risch. Under the Federal Act on Nature and Cultural Heritage, Art. 18 para. 1, ASTRA must rehabilitate wildlife corridors and create crossing aids for wild animals. The overpass will restore the connectivity of wildlife corridor ZG6, allowing animals to cross the motorway and the double-track railway line. In addition, the existing slope stabilization structure at Brüglen, about 300 m long, is to be renovated as part of the works. Planning and realization will use the BIM method; bidders must show the willingness and competences needed to deliver the project with BIM.
