Summary

Machine-generated summary

The contract covers the construction of a steel railway bridge forming part of a new flyover south of Bettembourg station in Luxembourg. The flyover is intended to prevent the Bettembourg-Dudelange line from crossing freight trains arriving from the west of the country and entering the Bettembourg marshalling yard. The works include the construction of reinforced concrete abutments, the pre-assembly of the steel structure and its launching across the abutments. Since the works take place inside an operating station that must remain in service for rail traffic, apart from some planned rail closures, compliance with deadlines and occupational safety is described as a primary factor for successful completion.
