Supply of bench slats

The Technical Operations department (TBR), responsible for public benches in the city of Remscheid, requires bench slats to replace slats damaged by vandalism or weather. The slats must be made of spruce or fir wood certified under PEFC or FSE, knot-free, kiln dried to approximately 14-16%, 2.00 m long, in various widths, with all edges rounded (radius approx. 8 mm, R8), chamber dried and planed on all sides. The relevant certificate must be submitted with the offer. Around 1,680 slats are to be supplied, stained on all sides with a two-coat finish and intermediate sanding. Delivery may be made in several stages, and a colour sample will be provided at contract award.
