Description

Der geplante Neubau des Kultur- und Begegnungszentrums ergänzt das bestehende nordöstliche «Zeughaus K2» mit zwei einfachen, in der Grösse und Struktur unterschiedlichen Bauten: dem «Kultursaal KS» und dem «Kulturregal KR» sowie einem im Untergeschoss erschlossenen «Sammelbauwerk E/T». Beim Kulturregal handelt es sich um einen Holz-Beton-Hybridbau mit wechselnden Anforderungen an die Gebäudehülle (warm/kalt), die Witterung (bewittert / unbewittert) sowie einer anspruchsvollen, verschachtelten Gebäudestruktur. Beim Kultursaal wird das Dachtragwerk als Holzkonstruktion mit Trapezfachwerkträgern sowie das Sekundärtragwerk ebenfalls in Holzbauweise vorgesehen. Die Gebäudehülle ist eine hinterlüftete Holzfassade. Im K2 (denkmalgeschützt) sind Anpassungen am bestehenden Dachstuhl gefordert, welche für die neu zu erstellenden Treppenhauskerne (Massivbau in Beton) sowie die neuen Dachflächenfenster erforderlich sind.
