Στις εγκαταστάσεις των δύο Ε.Ε.Λ. της Δ.Ε.Υ.Α.Α. και σε κατάλληλα φρεάτια των εγκαταστάσεων, συγκεντρώνονται διάφορα προϊόντα της διαδικασίας επεξεργασίας όπως λίπη, άμμος κλπ. Για τον λόγο αυτό κρίνεται αναγκαία η αναρρόφηση και η αποκομιδή τους με κατάλληλα οχήματα (βυτία) καθώς και ο επιμελής καθαρισμός των φρεατίων.
