Gli interventi in progetto mirano alla mitigazione delle condizioni di rischio idraulico della piana di Laterina, con riferimento, in particolare, alle aree a maggior grado di urbanizzazione e sono costituiti essenzialmente da: nuovi rilevati arginali; opere di presidio puntuali; interventi di regimazione del reticolo idraulico minore, comprensivi della realizzazione dei sottoattraversamenti arginali; interventi di risagomatura del torrente Oreno e di sistemazione del fondo e delle sponde dei torrenti Oreno e Bregine; opere complementari ed accessorie: sistemazioni a verde e ripristini delle aree di intervento, demolizioni di manufatti interferenti, rimozione di recinzioni.
