Description

Tenders are sought for the Supply, Delivery, Installation and Commissioning of a Femtosecond-Laser for University College Dublin. Specifically, this should emit pulses with shortest duration no longer than 250 fs, at a wavelength of ~1030 nm and a maximum repetition rate no less than 1000 Hz, for a maximum output power of 20 W. MNMT-Dublin requires this piece of equipment for applications such as laser nanotexturing and harmonic generation. Integration of the device with other equipment and/or optical setups will be carried out by the centre, but support by the supplier is expected at hardware and software level, both for applicational and for health and safety purposes.

Procedure facts

  • A single tender was received (open procedure).

Facts that procurement researchers and journalists track across public records. None of them is evidence of wrongdoing: each has ordinary explanations, such as a specialised market, an urgent need or a short list of qualified suppliers.
