Purchase of 9 x Ford Double Crewed National Specification Ambulances (DCA) Electric Vehicle Base Chassis

East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust has awarded a contract to Ford Motor Company Limited for the purchase of 9 Ford electric vehicle base chassis, part of the National Double Crewed Ambulance Specification. The purchase was made through the GCA RM6244 Purchase of Standard and Specialist Vehicles framework, Lot 5, after the expiry of Lot 3 (Electric Ambulances) of the National Ambulance Procurement. The contract covers base chassis only, with conversions to be undertaken via a provider on the National Ambulance Framework, Ref: C192905, part of the East of England Collaborative Procurement Hub.
