Rješenja za automatiziranu dijagnostiku mora obuhvatiti ključne funkcionalnosti te osigurati sljedeće poslovne učinke: 1. osigurati automatizirane postupke dohvata podataka o vrsti i sadržaju informativnih elemenata svih nadziranih infrastrukturnih dijelova poslovnog IT sustava koristeći standardne i napredne integracijske metode, s ciljem očitanja trenutnog stanja, uključujući minimalno: - detaljne parametre fizičke infrastrukture (npr. proizvođač, verzija hardvera i sl.), - detaljne parametre logičke infrastrukture (npr. verzija softvera, broj zadnje primijenjene zakrpe, IP adrese i sl.) 2. rekoncilijaciju podataka dohvaćenih automatiziranim postupcima rješenje treba omogućiti provođenjem na način da se najnovijim podacima osvježavaju dokumentirani zapisi, uz istodobno zadržavanje neizmijenjenih podataka, neovisno o tome pripadaju li fizičkim ili logičkim entitetima, s ciljem potpunog praćenja životnog ciklusa fizičkih i logičkih elemenata cjelokupnog IT sustava 3. osigurati kontinuirano prikupljanje konfiguracija svih dostupnih elemenata IT sustava, uz praćenje njihovih programskih kodova, inačica i razlika između verzija, uz evidentiranje informacija o izmjenama konfiguracija i izvršenim naredbama na elementima (hardverskim i virtualnim) sustava, s mogućnošću ponovnog dohvata podataka o infrastrukturi i rekoncilijacije prilikom snimanja novih konfiguracija 4. omogućiti dinamično upravljanje dokumentacijom sustava, dokumentiranje promjena te omogućavanja automatiziranog dokumentiranja IP adresa u sklopu procesa dohvata parametara logičke infrastrukture sustava Predmetno rješenje potrebno je promatrati u okviru proširenja obuhvata postojećeg sustava za krovni nadzor i upravljanje ICT infrastrukturom, kako bi se konsolidirao broj pojedinačnih upravljačkih sustava te iskoristile mogućnosti kombiniranja funkcionalnosti predmetnog rješenja i postojećeg sustava. Predmetno rješenje potrebno je implementirati i visokointegrirati unutar postojećeg IT okruženja, kako bi se osigurala najviša razina informacijske sigurnosti, onemogućavanjem bilo kakvog utjecaja vanjskih elemenata na rad sustava.
