Verwendung im Herz-OP-Saal bei Operationen an Herzklappen und Bypass-Chirurgie. Die benötigten Modalitäten und Sonden richten sich nach dem aktuellen Stand der Wissenschaft, die für die Intervention an den Herzklappen die Möglichkeiten einer dreidimensionalen Bildgebung zwingend notwendig machen.
