The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) intends to appoint a competent insurance agency to provide a Group Medical Insurance Policy for Country-Based Staff and their qualified dependents of the British High Commission in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The contract runs for three years starting 1 April 2027, with possible extension of two more years on a 1+1 basis subject to satisfactory performance. Interested insurance agencies operating in the Sri Lankan market can take part. An early market engagement session will be held virtually on 21 August 2026, 11:00 to 12:00 Colombo time, to present tentative requirements, procurement procedures, evaluation criteria and timelines.
