Preliminary market consultation - voluntary prior information - no contract notice Key points: CO2 emission reduction, book and claim CO2 certificates, aviation emission insetting, sustainable aviation The Deutsche Bundesbank (BBk), together with the Eurosystem Procurement Coordination Office (EPCO), are exploring the possibility to launch a joint procurement for "Sustainable Aviation Fuel Certificates (SAF)". This preliminary market consultation serves the purpose of providing the contracting authority with information about solutions available on the market with the aim of preparing a planned procurement procedure. Once the preliminary market consultation has been completed, the results will be evaluated by the contracting authority and will probably be incorporated in the tender documents for the intended procurement procedure in a neutralised manner. Until 24 October 2025, you can contact us by mentioning the subject line "25-2000069693 Preliminary market consultation - SAF certificates" by sending an email to beschaffungen-international@bundesbank.de You will then receive a questionnaire.
