France - Pipeline laying works - Renewal of the interconnection of the Metz Cité / Metz Est urban heating networks

The buyer is seeking a contractor to renew the supply pipe ('Aller') of the urban heating network serving the Metz Est sector in France. This DN400 link operates between 95°C and 160°C at 25 bar pressure. The works include the complete replacement of three sections of 500m, 800m and 450m, with the last two as conditional options, and cover project management, studies, earthworks, removal of the existing pipe, tube supply, testing and commissioning. Half of the site is under roads, half in green space. Works run between May and October 2027 and 2028. A consortium of civil engineering firm, tube supplier (accredited by the buyer) and installer is expected.
