Les objectifs sont : - De se conformer à la réglementation (article 7 de la loi du 6 juillet 1989) - le locataire a l'obligation « de s'assurer contre les risques dont il doit répondre en sa qualité de locataire et d'en justifier lors de la remise des clés puis, chaque année, à la demande du bailleur » - De disposer d'une information essentielle en cas de sinistre
