CEA LETI, a French research institute based in Grenoble, intends to purchase an optical inspection system for unpatterned wafers, capable of inspecting 100 mm, 150 mm and 200 mm substrates (a so-called 'bridging tool') to replace older systems. The tool must handle thin and thick, including exotic, substrates, support process qualification in a cleanroom and, on request, capture defect images via microscope acquisition. The contract includes a base system, a mandatory-priced option for a one-year warranty extension and optional items such as heat exchangers, transformer, training and DAP delivery to CEA Grenoble (Incoterms ICC 2020).
