La Dirección de Operaciones dispone de un sistema con capacidad de realizar la captación y transmisión de imágenes de cámaras en movimiento en amplias zonas, que se utiliza en retransmisiones y eventos como la Vuelta Ciclista a España, Vueltas ciclistas regionales, maratones. Para la transmisión de estas señales es necesario contar con una serie de puntos en los que se sitúan repetidores con el fin de que estas señales puedan llegar a la Unidad móvil o estudio donde se realiza el programa. Hay una serie de elementos en los que han de montarse los equipos de captación, transmisores y repetidores con los que no se cuenta entre los recursos propios de RTVE por lo que es necesario recurrir a su contratación, estos son: los helicópteros y el avión.
