La contratación objeto del presente expediente se hace necesaria a fin de llevar a cabo la labor de investigación y desarrollo para la Pilot Line de la UPV, con el objetivo de mejorar las líneas piloto avanzadas existentes y desarrollar nuevas en toda la Unión, para permitir el desarrollo y el despliegue de tecnologías de semiconductores de vanguardia y tecnologías de semiconductores de próxima generación. A tal efecto, resulta necesario proceder a la adquisición, entre otros, de los siguientes equipos: 4 • UPV04 - Electron beam lithography tool up to 8-inch wafers: Equipo de litografía por haz de electrones que expone patrones en resistencias sensibles mediante un haz de electrones enfocado y escaneado. Escribe características con resolución nanométrica según diseño en archivo digital. Dedicado a patronado de nanofabricación, especialmente para máscaras y estructuras en fotónica, semiconductores y nanotecnología. • UPV13 - SEM: Equipo de inspección de superficies mediante un haz de electrones enfocado que entrega imágenes de resolución nanométrica. Permite obtener información morfológica y de contraste superficial, así como contraste asociado a diferencias de composición o número atómico, en función de los detectores y modos de imagen disponibles. Dedicado a metrología, inspección y validación de proceso y control de calidad. La idoneidad del equipamiento se fundamenta en su capacidad para cubrir de forma conjunta los requisitos de patronaje y metrología dedicada necesarios para la fabricación en línea piloto de circuitos fotónicos integrados híbridos. Esta capacidad permite coordinar la definición de parámetros de exposición y puntos de interés para metrología posterior, integrar la inspección SEM externa post-proceso y asegurar la trazabilidad y coherencia de los datos generados durante el flujo de fabricación.
