Αντικείμενο της σύμβασης είναι η προμήθεια υλικού επικάλυψης συνολικής ποσότητας είκοσι χιλιάδων κυβικών μέτρων (20.000 m3) για την για την κάλυψη των αναγκών του Χ.Υ.Τ.Α. Ιστιαίας, για ένα (1) έτος. Η διαδικασία απόθεσης και υγειονομικής ταφής των απορριμμάτων, εντός του Χ.Υ.Τ.Α., περιλαμβάνει την επικάλυψη του απορριμματικού όγκου, με υλικό κατάλληλων προδιαγραφών, για την πλήρη απομόνωση των απορριμμάτων από τον περιβάλλοντα χώρο και, κατ’ επέκταση, την αποτελεσματική προστασία του φυσικού περιβάλλοντος και του υδροφόρου ορίζοντα της περιοχής, βασικό στάδιο της διαδικασίας της υγειονομικής ταφής τους. Η εκτιμώμενη αξία της σύμβασης, για την προμήθεια συνολικής ποσότητας είκοσι χιλιάδων κυβικών μέτρων (20.000 m3) υλικού επικάλυψης, ανέρχεται συνολικά στο ποσό των εκατόν εβδομήντα χιλιάδων ευρώ (170.000,00€) μη συμπεριλαμβανομένου ΦΠΑ 24% (εκτιμώμενη αξία συμπεριλαμβανομένου Φ.Π.Α.: 210.800,00 €), με δικαίωμα προαίρεσης 30% αξίας πενήντα ενός χιλιάδων ευρώ (51.000,00€) μη συμπεριλαμβανομένου ΦΠΑ (εκτιμώμενη αξία συμπεριλαμβανομένου Φ.Π.Α.: 63.240,00 €) και παράτασης για επιπλέον δώδεκα (12), αξίας εκατόν εβδομήντα χιλιάδων ευρώ (170.000,00€) μη συμπεριλαμβανομένου ΦΠΑ (εκτιμώμενη αξία συμπεριλαμβανομένου Φ.Π.Α.: 210.800,00 €).
