Αντικείμενο της σύμβασης είναι η προμήθεια και εγκατάσταση φορητής μονάδας αφαλάτωσης θαλασσινού νερού, ελάχιστης παραγωγής 600 m3/ημέρα πόσιμου νερού, σύμφωνα με τις τεχνικές προδιαγραφές - με σκοπό την αντιμετώπιση των αναγκών ύδρευσης της περιοχής της Χώρας Άνδρου, ιδιαίτερα κατά την θερινή τουριστική περίοδο. Η θέση εγκατάστασης όλου του εξοπλισμού είναι στον διαθέσιμο χώρο των εγκαταστάσεων της ΕΕΛ Άνδρου. Στο αντικείμενο της σύμβασης περιλαμβάνονται επίσης τα απαραίτητα συνοδά έργα και δωδεκάμηνη δοκιμαστική λειτουργία.
