Το έργο αφορά εργασίες ασφαλούς παροχέτευσης προς τον τελικό αποδέκτη των πλημμυρικών παροχών που προέρχονται από τις λεκάνες απορροής των εποχικών υδατορεμάτων, όμορων προς την Σπερχειάδα και Παλιοβράχα , οι οποίες λόγω της κλιματικής αλλαγής, της εκδηλωθείσας ήδη με τα έντονα καιρικά φαινόμενα των ισχυρών βροχοπτώσεων Ιανού, Daniel και Elias, έχουν καταστεί ιδιαιτέρως έντονες και δημιουργούν αυξημένο πλημμυρικό κίνδυνο για την ζωή και την ασφάλεια των κατοίκων. Συνοπτικά περιλαμβάνει: Α. Αγωγούς παροχέτευσης των ομβρίων, προερχομένων από τις λεκάνες απορροής χειμάρρων εποχικών υδατορεμάτων, για την διόδευση αυτών προς τους αντίστοιχους τελικούς αποδέκτες, Β. Έργα διευθέτησης του τμήματος χειμάρρου που είναι σε επαφή με τον αύλειο χώρο του Γυμνασίου - Λυκείου Σπερχειάδας και καθαρισμού τμήματος κοίτης χειμάρρου Βαλορέματος, Γ. Έργα στην περιοχή συμβολής των χειμάρρων-υδατορεμάτων στους αγωγούς παροχέτευσης των πλημμυρικών υδάτων, Δ. Έργα Αντιστηρίξεων εκσκαφών ορυγμάτων, σωληνωτών, κιβωτοειδών αγωγών και των φρεατίων ελέγχου, και στομίων επίσκεψης και συντήρησης.
