Der Kanton Glarus beschafft den Betrieb, den Support, den Unterhalt und den Lifecycle des «EDU-Netzes Glarus Nord». Das EDU-Netz bildet die zentrale Kommunikations- und Basisinfrastruktur für insgesamt 23 Bildungsstandorte in Glarus Nord, darunter Schulhäuser, Kindergärten, Bibliotheken und weitere schulnahe Einrichtungen. Der Auftrag umfasst insbesondere die Netzanbindung sämtlicher Standorte einschliesslich Internetzugang, die Kommunikation zwischen den Standorten, zu externen Dienstleistern und zum Rechenzentrum sowie den Betrieb der zentralen und dezentralen Netzwerkkomponenten. Zum Leistungsumfang gehören zudem die erforderlichen Lizenzen und Wartungsleistungen, die proaktive digitale Überwachung der Infrastruktur, die periodische Wartung, die Entgegennahme und Behebung von Störungen sowie die Bereitstellung einer Support- und Pikettorganisation. Ebenfalls eingeschlossen sind die technische und organisatorische Koordination der beteiligten Stellen und weiteren Dienstleister sowie die Abgrenzung der jeweiligen Zuständigkeiten. Weiter umfasst der Auftrag den planmässigen Lifecycle und die Ersatzbeschaffung der bestehenden Basis-Infrastruktur. In den Jahren 2026 bis 2030 sind insbesondere Erneuerungen der Core-Infrastruktur, der WLAN Accesspoints, der Access Switches und der Mini Switches vorgesehen. Die Leistungen werden auf der bestehenden, im Eigentum der Technischen Betriebe Glarus Nord (TBGN) stehenden Infrastruktur erbracht. Der jährliche Festpreis beträgt CHF 167’000 exkl. Mehrwertsteuer. Bei einer Mindestvertragsdauer von fünf Jahren ergibt sich ein Auftragswert von CHF 835’000 exkl. beziehungsweise CHF 902’635 inkl. 8,1 % Mehrwertsteuer. Zusatzleistungen für MOVE, ADD und CHANGE sind nicht Bestandteil des Festpreises und werden ausschliesslich nach separater Beauftragung zu einem Stundenansatz von CHF 150 exkl. Mehrwertsteuer erbracht. Der Vertrag beginnt gemäss Leistungsvereinbarung am 1. Januar 2026, weist eine Mindestdauer von fünf Jahren auf und läuft anschliessend ohne Kündigung auf unbestimmte Zeit weiter.
