Direct Award for Web Security Gateway Licences under SVARS

South Lanarkshire Council awarded a direct contract to Computacenter for Forcepoint One - Web Security Edition licences. The council previously used Forcepoint Secure Web Gateway (Triton AP WEB), which has reached end of life and was superseded by Forcepoint One - Web Security Edition in 2022. The new licences ensure continued cyber-attack protection and web filtering services for council IT systems with a seamless transition and minimum disruption. The existing contract, SLC/FC/23/050 for Forcepoint One Web Security Licences, expires on 01 October 2024. The contract was awarded on 2024-10-02 with a value of EUR 92,118.53.
