The town of Hattingen in Germany is announcing that the existing water concession contract with Stadtwerke Hattingen GmbH for the town area, excluding the districts of Blankenstein, Welper, Holthausen, Bredenscheid, Winz, Niederbonsfeld, Niederwenigern, Oberstüter and part of Niederstüter, will expire on 31 December 2026. The town intends to conclude a new water concession contract with a maximum term of 30 years. The contract grants the partner the right to use roads for the exclusive public water supply of end consumers in the above-mentioned area, while obliging it to guarantee the public water supply during the contract term.
