ENRW Energieversorgung Rottweil GmbH is procuring the conversion and expansion of its UW-Prim substation in Rottweil, Germany. The substation currently has two 110/20 kV transformers of 40 MVA each, fed in block operation via two 110 kV overhead lines from the neighbouring UW-Rottweil substation of Netze BW. The works include expanding the 110 kV outdoor switchgear to eight double-busbar bays (two feeder bays, two transformer bays, three cable bays and one bus coupler), installing a 110 kV earthing reactor, relocating one transformer onto a new foundation including oil catchment trays, temporary supply cables during construction, and laying secondary and low-voltage transformer cables.
