Die Bundesgesellschaft für Endlagerung mbH (BGE) betreibt in der Gemeinde Ingersleben, Ortsteil Morsleben das Endlager für radioaktive Abfälle Morsleben (ERAM). Das Grundstück liegt an der Bundesstraße 1, über die die Zufahrt erfolgt. Die betriebliche Anlage umfasst neben den oberirdischen Gebäuden der Schachtanlagen Bartensleben (Gemeinde Ingersleben) und Marie (Gemeinde Beendorf) auch eine weitläufige Grube unterläge. Die Schachtanlage Bartensleben ist ein über 100 Jahre altes Kali- und Steinsalzbergwerk, in das zwischen 1971 und 1991 sowie von 1994 bis 1998 schwach- und mittelradioaktive Abfälle end- und in geringen Mengen zwischengelagert wurden. Der Einlagerungsbereich für die radioaktiven Abfälle befindet sich auf der 4, Sohle der Grube Bartensle­ben und darunter. Dieser stellt zusammen mit der Schachtröhre den untertägigen Kontrollbereich dar. Die über der 4. Sohle liegenden 1. bis 3. Sohlen sind ein konventioneller Grubenbau und kein Kontrollbereich. Derzeit wird an einer Verbindung (Flachen 2) von der 4. zur 3. Sohle ein neuer Kontrollbereichsübergang (KBÜ2) geschaffen. Im Rahmen des betrieblichen Strahlenschutzes des ERAM sind für die Kontaminationskontrolle von Personen Ganzkörperkontaminationsmonitore (GKM) an den Kontrollbereichsübergängen (KBÜ) des ERAM unter und über Tage vorgesehen. Gegenstand dieser Ausschreibung sind die Herstellung, Lieferung, Montage und Inbetriebsetzung eines Ganzkörperkontaminationsmonitors (GKM) am KBÜ2 zur Kontaminationskontrolle von Personen gemäß § 58 StrlSchV /02/. Das Kleidungskonzept im ERAM sieht keinen Kleiderwechsel vor dem Verlassen des Kontrollbereichs vor. Das heißt, bei Kontrollbereichsübergängen wird der GKM mit Kleidung (z. B. Arbeitsschutzbekleidung im Bergbau) und Sicherheitsschuhen betreten. Der GKM wird ausgangsseitig direkt an die Türöffnung einer Wand gestellt. Seitens des ERAM wird hier eine Tür mit elektrischem Schließer (über eine SPS angesteuert) bereitgestellt.
