Summary

Machine-generated summary

The waste management service of the Main-Kinzig district (MKK) is awarding a single-partner framework agreement on behalf of an intermunicipal cooperation with currently 15 of the 29 municipalities of the district and/or their wastewater associations, covering their territories. The contract covers the thermal recovery of municipal sewage sludge, estimated at about 11,500 tonnes per year with a dry matter content of roughly 22 to 30 percent, together with the related transport logistics, including container provision, transport and collection. The individual logistic requirements of the participating sites, such as collection rhythm, collection times, dispatch and container type, form part of the scope. The base term is 3 years, with one extension option of 2 years, and quantities may rise as further municipalities join.
