DB Regio AG, the Deutsche Bahn subsidiary responsible for local passenger transport, is procuring a framework contract for all-risk insurance of rail vehicles used in public regional rail passenger transport contracts that are not owned by DB Regio AG or its subsidiaries. Insurance cover must be provided according to the requirements of each won transport contract, with a separate registration per contract. The total insured sum of current registrations is around 3.6 billion EUR, with liability limited to 50 million EUR per case (basic coverage). The contract is split into Lot 1 (contract management) and Lot 2 (contract participation). A separate excess cover tender is published separately. Place of performance: Germany.
