Der NDR will die bisherigen Schalträume Hörfunk und Fernsehen basierend auf einem IP-Mediennetz zusammenfassen und auf die neue Technik heben, um multimedialen Anforderungen gerecht werden zu können. Für die Arbeiten in den LFH wird es eigene Ausschreibungen geben. Der dortige Umfang ist kein Teil dieser Ausschreibung. Viele der bisher beteiligten Systeme sind veraltet oder erreichen in Kürze ihr End-of-life und müssen daher ersetzt werden. Im NDR wurde im Zuge einer diesem Projekt vorgelagerten Untersuchung entschieden, dass ein Media-over-IP-Netzwerk (MoIP) auf Basis von SMPTE ST 2110 genutzt wird. Die zentrale Infrastruktur des NDR-weiten MoIP-Netzwerks wurde bereits im Rahmen eines anderen Projektes entwickelt und aufgebaut. Zum On-Air-Start des neuen MCR werden bereits erste Produktionskomplexe live auf dem MoIP-Netzwerk senden, daher ist besondere Sorgfalt bei der Integration neuer Geräte in das System geboten. Das Projekt umfasst: - Aufbau zentraler Gerätetechnik am Standort HH Lokstedt in 2 Warmgängen sowie weiteren verteilten und dezentralen Geräteräumen inkl. Verkabelung - Aufbau von vier vollständigen MCR-Bedienplätzen am Standort HH Lokstedt - Aufbau eines weiteren Bedienplatzes (EURO-Koordinationsplatz) am Standort HH Lokstedt Große Bestandteile in diesem Projekt werden durch den Auftraggeber (AG) beigestellt, da-zu zählt vor allem die Integration der Geräte in die zentralen Systeme des MoIP-Netzwerks, inklusive des Orchestrationssystems. Dafür hat der NDR ein Verfahren entwickelt, welches in dem Dokument in der Anlage Anleitung zu den IP Next Anforderungen für Projektleitende und Ausschreibende (Anhang01_Beipackzettel_IP_Next_V1.4.pdf) nachzulesen ist. Bedingt durch in der ARD stattfindende Arbeitsgruppen, einen "Schaltraum der Zukunft" zu entwickeln, wird besonders Wert auf eine modulare, skalierbare Medientechnik gelegt. Die vorab entwickelten MCR-Arbeitsplätze etablieren für den NDR einen Standard, welcher bei Bedarf ggf. in größerer als hier angegebener Anzahl aufgebaut werden könnte. Für die Kalkulation sind jedoch die hier angegebenen Mengen ausschlaggebend.
