Die Schiffahrt der Inselgemeinde Langeoog schreibt die Durchführung von Unterhaltungsarbeiten und Kleinreparaturen für ihre wattfahrenden Fahrgast- und Frachtschiffe für die kommenden 3 Jahre aus, mit der Möglichkeit einer Verlängerung um ein weiteres Jahr. Die Schiffahrt Inselgemeinde Langeoog bietet eine Fährverbindung zwischen der Insel Langeoog und dem Hafen Bensersiel an, die Passagiere sowie Fracht transportiert. Die Reederei betreibt im Personentransport vier Passagierschiffe und setzt im Frachtverkehr zwei Frachtschiffe ein. Die Fahrgastschiffe müssen jährlich und die zwei Frachtschiffe alle zwei Jahre zur Werft, um die von der deutschen Flagge und einer Klassifikationsgesellschaft geforderten Kontrollen sowie weitere Wartungs- und Kleinreparaturarbeiten durchführen zu lassen. Gelegentlich sind auch kleine Reparaturen in den Häfen Langeoog und Bensersiel erforderlich. Die jährlich oder alle zwei Jahre anfallenden Werftzeiten sind zeitlich festgelegt und müssen im Werftbelegungsplan des Bieters berücksichtigt werden. Die Schiffssicherheitszeugnisse schränken den Aktionsradius für Werftfahrten ein. Der Bieter muss mögliche Ausnahmen für die Fahrt in seine Werft über die deutsche Flagge prüfen.
