University Hospital RWTH Aachen is procuring project steering and general advisory services for a construction project to convert the safety ventilation of 24 stairwell cores in its main building. Following a fire in 1996 in an electrical shaft, the safety concept was revised, and ventilation systems for 13 of the 24 stairwell cores were converted by 2010; continuing the approved scheme is no longer formally possible due to a change in building authority responsibility. The contractor must use the web-based platform Conclude/CDE with project manager rights. A complete commission covering all services is planned. This is a VgV procurement procedure.
