The contract covers structural engineering planning services in accordance with Section 49 ff HOAI in conjunction with Annex 14 HOAI, service phases 5-6, for the construction of a pedestrian and cycle bridge in Buxheim. The bridge over the Iller river is intended to improve the pedestrian and cycle connection between Buxheim in Bavaria and Tannheim in Baden-Wuerttemberg. The existing footbridge, which is attached to the railway bridge and has a staircase, no longer meets current requirements for a comfortable connection between the two neighbouring municipalities. A detailed description is provided in the design report contained in the tender documents.
