The Waterways New Construction Office North-Baltic Sea Canal plans to establish a long-term storage facility for dredged material, soil and other mineral materials from the Kiel Canal and its expansion projects at Flemhuder See, covering around 75 hectares, with a maximum storage period of 3 years per delivered material. The required eco-points to compensate for interventions in nature and landscape are split into 6 separate lots. This is an expression of interest procedure, not a formal procurement or public contract, with no legal binding effect and no reimbursement of costs. A subsequent procurement procedure will follow to purchase eco-points from interested companies.
