The Wasserstrassen-Neubauamt Nord-Ostsee-Kanal plans a long-term storage facility for dredged material, soil and other mineral materials from the Nord-Ostsee-Kanal and its upgrade works at Flemhuder See, covering around 75 ha, with each delivered material stored for a maximum of 3 years. Impacts on nature and landscape must be offset or replaced. The required eco-points in the Geest are split into three lots: inland waters (11,572 points), reeds (139,270 points) and dry and nutrient-poor grassland (606 points). This notice covers lot 3, dry and nutrient-poor grassland (TR), totalling 606 eco-points. This is an expression of interest procedure, not a formal award procedure, and creates no legal obligation. No remuneration or reimbursement is granted. A subsequent procurement procedure for purchasing the eco-points will follow.
