Description

Die medbo betreibt eine zentralisierte vernetzte homogene standortübergreifende Wireless LAN Infrastruktur. Das zentrale Management sorgt für die Überwachung, Konfiguration und Alarmierung im Störungsfall. Die Gebäude auf unseren Campus Anlagen werden neben der Inhouse Sender durch zusätzliche Außen WLAN Sender ausgeleuchtet, um eine flächendeckende Roaming WLAN Infrastruktur bereitzustellen. Diese Wireless LAN Infrastruktur bildet die Grundlage für die Dienste: Nahtlose Patientenversorgung auf Basis Papierloser Patientenakte, Voice over IP (VoIP) zur Telefonie und ebenso für unser Ortungs- und Alarmierungssystem EKAHAU der Firma Airista. Hierzu und ganz speziell im Falle von Alarmierung und Ortung, im WLAN Bereich, ist ein nahtloses und unterbrechungsfreies Roaming unabdingbar. Es handelt sich um ein zentralisiertes „Aruba Management“ und „Aruba Mobility Controller“ Konzept, welches das Rückgrat des Systems bildet und auf die jeweiligen Standorte, als virtuelle bzw. physikalische Einheiten verbaut sind. Die WLAN Access Points werden von den Controller provisioniert und mit Firmware bzw. Konfigurationen versorgt. Von den Aruba Mobility Controller gibt es Schnittstellen zu den dezentralen Alarmservern wie OScAR, Mobicall, EKAHAU und dem Monitoring System von HPE Aruba. Diese sind wiederrum in das zentrale Netzwerk Monitoring integriert, welches ebenfalls in vorhandene Alarmketten eingebunden ist. Somit werden Fremd WLAN Sender erkannt, Ausfallmeldungen detektiert, Störer erkannt, Schwellwertüberschreitungen gemeldet und an die Alarmsysteme durch die etablierten Schnittstellen weitergeleitet. Die Alarmierungs- und Ortungstechnik von Airista EKAHAU ist im Wesentlichen von einer stabilen WLAN Umgebung abhängig. Fallen Sender aus oder kommt es zu Störeinflüssen wird die Ortung und Alarmierung beeinträchtigt und es kommt zu Fehlortungen. In einem Forensischen- und im Klinikumfeld ist eine stabile und vor allem sichere Alarmierung/Ortung unabdingbar. Dazu werden die von uns beschafften Systeme sorgfältig vorab ausgewählt, geprüft und getestet.
