NRM Netzdienste Rhein-Main GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mainova AG based in Frankfurt am Main, plans to procure standardised retrofit measurement sensor boxes (ONS sensors) for installation in low-voltage substations and other defined network points. The purpose is continuous recording of relevant network parameters in the low-voltage grid, which covers Frankfurt am Main and spans about 7,700 km, to implement section 14a of the Energy Industry Act and detect grid bottlenecks.
