Summary

Machine-generated summary

The Dillingen-Wertingen district hospitals (KDW), which run St. Elisabeth Hospital in Dillingen and Wertingen District Hospital in Bavarian Swabia with 317 beds and over 900 staff, plan to introduce a patient data management system (PDMS) for intensive care at the Dillingen site. The intensive care unit currently has 8 beds with an expansion to 12 planned. The on-premise system must support digital documentation, process optimisation, automated data processing, quality assurance and clinical decision support. It must integrate with the existing IT and medical technology environment, including FHIR interfaces to the MEDICO hospital information system and ADVANOVA VMobil, while MEDLINQ is used in anaesthesia. Funded by grants, the contract runs a minimum of 3 years with up to three one-year automatic extensions.
