Description

Im Zentrum für Proteomik sind zwei Orbitrap-MS Geräte ausgefallen. Um die Kapazitäten in der Proteinanalytik, insbesondere für umfassende Hochdurchsatz-Proteomics-Studien, aufrechtzuerhalten, ist die sofortige Beschaffung eines leistungsfähigen Ersatzsystems erforderlich. Die Beschaffung steht nicht im Zusammenhang mit dem im Rahmen des FUGG-Antrags beantragten timsTOF Ultra², sondern dient ausschließlich der Aufrechterhaltung des laufenden Forschungs- und Lehrbetriebs. Die Forschung am Zentrum für Proteomics erfordert ein System, das folgende Eigenschaften kumulativ aufweist: • Konstante Hochauflösung bei sehr hoher Scangeschwindigkeit (bis 300 Hz) über den gesamten Massenbereich, insbesondere für DIA-Workflows mit kurzen Gradienten. • Hochdurchsatzfähigkeit: > doppelte Probenanzahl pro Tag gegenüber klassischen nanoLC-Systemen. • Integrierter „Run-and-Done“-Workflow: Messung und Auswertung in einem Schritt, Einsparung eines zusätzlichen Auswertungstags. • Robustheit und geringer Wartungsaufwand im Dauerbetrieb mit hohem Probenaufkommen. • Modulares, zukunftssicheres Systemdesign mit klaren Upgradepfaden, kostenlosem Software-Support und lokalem Service. Diese Kombination wird aktuell ausschließlich durch das Bruker timsTOF HT mit Evosep ENO erfüllt.
