The Max Planck Society is setting up a Dynamic Purchasing System (DBS) covering office supplies, IT consumables, electrical and building technology, tools, fluid systems, catering supplies and hygiene paper, with categories possibly extended during the term. Estimated value is 13,000,000 Euro per year in total, including office materials 1.8 million, IT consumables 2.5 million and electrical and building technology 4.5 million. Individual orders are awarded later via the internal MPG marketplace; only companies admitted to a category can bid, and admission to several categories is possible.
