Der Auftrag beinhaltet den künstlerischen Entwurf bis einschließlich der Umsetzung eines Kunstwerkes, für die künstlerischen Ausgestaltung am Standort Grundschule Schillerschule, Kaiserslautern. Das Ziel der Kunst-am-Bau-Maßnahme soll die Entwicklung einer plastischen, identitätsstiftenden Gestaltung aus vorzugsweise natürlichen, nachhaltigen und witterungsbeständigen Materialien sein, die den Eingangsbereich zwischen dem öffentlichen Straßenraum und dem Haupteingang der Grundschule räumlich und atmosphärisch prägt. Die künstlerische Arbeit soll Schülerinnen und Schüler sowie Besucher und Besucherinnen auf ihrem Weg zum Haupteingang begleiten, sie sichtbar willkommen heißen und Offenheit, Gemeinschaft sowie die kulturelle Vielfalt der Schulgemeinschaft vermitteln. Die Vielfalt der an der Schule gesprochenen Sprachen soll dabei als Ausdruck von Zugehörigkeit, Begegnung und gegenseitigem Respekt erlebbar sein. Darüber hinaus soll die Gestaltung insbesondere für Kinder unmittelbar erfahrbar sein: spielerisch, haptisch und im Maßstab ihrer Lebenswelt. Durch eine plastische und möglichst aktiv nutzbare Ausformung soll die Arbeit Begegnung, Interaktion und Aneignung fördern, den Außenraum beleben und die Identifikation mit dem Schulstandort fördern. Im Rahmen der Zuwendungsmaßnahme zum Neubau der Grundschule Schillerschule wird die künstlerische Ausgestaltung im Bereich des Haupteinganges ausgelobt. Die künstlerische Gestaltung soll sich mit dem Bauwerk, dem Umfeld und der Schulgemeinschaft auseinandersetzen Leistungsbestandteile sind das Künstlerhonorar, Kosten für eventuelle Planungs- und Bauleistungem, bautechn.
