Description
Für die Digitalisierung der Pathologie (sog. Digitale Pathologie) müssen histologische Schnittpräparate digitalisiert werden. Mittels sog. Whole Slide Scanner werden Schnitte eingescannt und digitale Bilder, sog. Whole Slide Images (WSI) erzeugt. Die Digitalisierung ist Use Case-basiert geplant, so dass z.B. Fallkohorten wie die Immunhistochemie komplett digitalisiert werden sollen. Dafür braucht es dann mehrere Slide Scanner, die parallel arbeiten, um keine großen zeitlichen Verzögerungen gegenüber dem analogen Workflow zu haben. Auf der Basis der digitalen Präparate können dann KI-Tools zum Einsatz kommen, was das Primärziel der Digitalisierung für uns ist.
