Das Leibniz-Institut für Agrartechnik und Bioökonomie e. V. (ATB) mit Hauptsitz in Potsdam plant in Groß-Kreutz einen zukunftsweisenden "Leibniz - Innovationshof für nachhaltige Bioökonomie" (InnoHof) als landwirtschaftlichen Betrieb zur innovativen und interdisziplinaren Forschung sowie der nachhaltigen Entwicklung von Biomasse. Dazu werden Maschinen- und Forschungshallen mit Fasertechnikum geplant und gebaut, wo auf zwei Ebenen neben Laboren und Büroflächen auch Orte für den Wissenstransfer entstehen.
