Description

Die Westküstenkliniken Brunsbüttel und Heide gGmbH (Auftraggeber) schreiben die Erweiterung der vorhandenen Dell Server (VxRail)- / Storage-Infrastruktur in einem Los aus. Die vorhandene IT-Infrastruktur basiert auf einer homogenen Dell VxRail-Hyperkonvergenten Lösung, ergänzt durch NetApp Storage für besondere VM-Anforderungen. Eine produktspezifische Ausschreibung ist wegen der bereits vorhandenen VxRail Hosts des Herstellers Dell sachlich gerechtfertigt. Neben einer homogenen Systemstruktur ist die volle und durchgängige Integration in die vorhandene Hyper-Converged-Infrastructure mit bereits 37 Hosts des Herstellers Dell gegeben. Die erforderliche Systemerweiterung mit ca. 18 Hosts rechtfertigt nicht die Ausschreibung einer neuen Gesamtlösung und die damit verbundenen Kosten. Bei einer Mischung des aktuellen Dell Clusters mit Produkten anderer Hersteller erlischt der notwendige Hersteller-Support und die Gesamtlösung ist nicht mehr betreibbar. Dies ist aus Sicherheits- und Betriebsgründen nicht vertretbar. Weiter wäre eine Vermischung verschiedener Produkte und die damit verbundene Zuordnung von Fehlerquellen, Gewährleistungen und Supportverträgen problematisch und muss vermieden werden. Vor diesem Hintergrund wird an der "Ein-Hersteller-Strategie" festgehalten, um auch weiterhin diese homogene Systemlandschaft zu gewährleisten. Aus diesem Grund erfolgt die Systemerweiterung der Cluster mit Dell und der Storage-Lösung des Herstellers NetApp.
