Description

Im Rahmen des offenen Verfahrens wird eine WARMPRESSE FÜR DIE HERSTELLUNG BALLISTISCHER VERBUNDPLATTEN AUF BASIS VON PREPREGS ausgeschrieben. Das Fraunhofer IKTS benötigt eine hydraulische Laborwarmpresse zur Herstellung von Faserverbund-strukturen auf Basis von Aramid- und UHMW-PE-Fasergelegen. Bei diesem Prozess werden Prepregs, mindestens aus Dyneema- und Twaron-Fasern bei höherer Temperatur und hohem Druck verpresst. Verwendung finden diese Faserverbundplatten in ballistischen Schutzsystemen als sogenanntes Ba-cking in Kombination mit keramischen Komponenten. Die Anlage wird als Forschungs- & Entwick-lungsaggregat am IKTS betrieben werden. Dabei liegt der Fokus auf der Entwicklung geeigneter pro-duktionsnaher Fügetechnologien zur Erzeugung widerstandsfähiger Faserverbund-Keramik-Komposite.
