DP World Logistics Chemical Germany GmbH invites works for the extension of its rail siding in Wolfenbuettel-Linden, as part of a new logistics hall project in the Wolfenbuettel industrial area, connected via the B 79 and the non-electrified single-track line 1942 Wolfenbuettel to Schoeppenstedt. Part I covers new track construction: tracks 4 and 4a raised and extended to 340 m, connected by a turnout, a new track 7 through a loading hall with ramp, four track troughs (7.50 x 3.80 m, about 30 m ramp length), 720 m of track with subgrade protection layer and deep drainage, plus service roads and lighting masts with foundations, with shoulder blocks on a 120 m radius section. Part II covers replacement and remodelling works: renewal of the protected turnout L2, withdrawal track 5, connecting track 6 and tracks 1 to 3, meaning 850 m of track dismantled, ballast cleaned, sleepers and rails renewed, three turnouts rehabilitated, six dismantled and two relocated, plus 15 track troughs in track 1 and lighting masts.
