The Cologne Fire Department is procuring one firefighting boat of a class between 18 and 20 metres overall length for use on the Rhine for firefighting, technical assistance, rescue of people and transport of emergency patients. The contract covers delivery of the boat, training of crew and service personnel, transfer to the buyer's location and obtaining all approvals including the ship certificate required for lawful operation on the Rhine. It must be an existing market model, not a new development.
