Description

Verkauf von Wärme bei 90 °C aus BHKWs und KVA (Brüdenkondensation) über 20 Jahre Geschätzte Menge: 57.616 MWh p.a. Maximal verpflichtende Abnahmemenge: 81.641 MWh p.a. Im Klärwerk Waßmannsdorf südlich von Berlin wird das Abwasser von 1,8 Mio. Berliner und Brandenburger Bürgern gereinigt. Der anfallende Klärschlamm wird gefault und das entstehende Faulgas in BHKWs verwertet. Die in den BHKWs anfallende Wärme wird zum Teil in einem Nahwärmenetz im Klärwerk genutzt. Es entstehen jedoch bereits heute ungenutzte Wärmeüberschüsse. Die Berliner Wasserbetriebe (BWB) errichten derzeit auf dem Gelände des Klärwerks Waßmannsdorf eine Klärschlammverwertungsanlage (KVA Was), die in 2026 in Betrieb genommen werden soll. In der KVA soll der Klärschlamm aller Klärwerke der BWB (außer Ruhleben) thermisch verwertet werden. Auch in der KVA wird Überschusswärme anfallen. Die gesamte Überschusswärme aus der KVA und den BHKWs soll an einen externen Wärmeabnehmer zur Nutzung abgegeben werden.
