Ahead of a planned new special education centre (SBBZ) in Breisach, a heating plant will be made available to a prospective heat supplier (contractor) under an energy contracting arrangement. The contractor is expected to build and operate the heating centre and to supply the new SBBZ building plus three public buildings of the city of Breisach with heating: the Attila Hall (approx. 290 kW), the Carl-Orff comprehensive school (approx. 120 kW), the community centre including administration (approx. 70 kW) and the new SBBZ (approx. 120 kW). A bivalent solution is favoured, consisting of a groundwater heat pump of approx. 150 kW and a gas peak boiler of approx. 600 to 700 kW. The scope includes the connections and transfer stations, and a photovoltaic system of approx. 60 kWp on the new building's roof. Interested parties may informally declare interest in the later procedure.
