Die Stadt Bochum plant die Verwirklichung des "Haus des Wissens" (HdW) im historischen Postgebäude inmitten der Bochumer Innenstadt. Im Zuge der Vorbereitungen des Einzugs und der medientechischen Ausstattung dieses Gebäude soll im Bildungs- und Verwaltungszentrum (BVZ) der Stadt Bochum das sogenannte Digitalisierungslabor Haus des Wissens (HdW-Labor) eingerichtet werden. Dieses umfasst einige Ausstattungsszenarien des späteren Haus des Wissens und soll zum Enabling der Nutzenden beitragen sowie wesentliche Entwicklungsprozesse auf Seite der Nutzerinstituationen bereits vorgezogen vor Einrichtung und Fertigstellung des HdW ermöglichen. Dies sind beispielsweise Prozesse zur Content-Entwicklung oder die Entwicklung von spezifischen Anforderungen an Steuerungsoberflächen und Informationssysteme. Dies umfasst die Lieferung, Konfiguration und Inbetriebnahme von Displays, Projektoren bis hin zu einer Seminarraumausstattung. Es sind diverse Tabletcomputer zu liefern oder auch eine Gamingstation (VR / AR) einzurichten. Zur Bespielung der Anlagen sind Digital-Signage Komponenten zu liefern und einzurichten und mit Hilfe einer zentralen Mediensteuerung zu bedienen. Folgende Themenbereiche sind als Laborumgebung aufzubauen: - Podcast- und Videoproduktion - Digitales Informations- und Wegeleitsystem - Digital-analoge Interventionen (Tabletcomputer) - Erfahrungsräume (flexibel bespielbarer audiovisueller Theaterraum) - Gaming/VR/AR - Seminarräume - Mediensteuerung
