The German Armed Forces require modular extraction parachutes for their future aerial delivery system, used to extract loads of up to 16 tonnes from A400M and C-130J aircraft. Several sizes of extraction parachutes, associated lines and additional equipment are needed, along with a military type certification. The parachutes must follow the US pattern common in NATO and be produced per TM 10-1670-278-23&P, based on the specification of Mills Manufacturing Corporation. The initial order covers 10 units each of 15, 22 and 28 ft extraction parachute systems, 10 sets of dual-parachute equipment and 1 set of spares, delivery November 2026. Option 1 (triggered March 2027, delivery November 2027) covers 55 units per size plus C-130J lines; Option 2 (by 31.03.2030, delivery November 2031) covers 115 units per size. Delivery to the Straelen material depot.
